The Blood Prince Council has decided to disband their ensemble in search of more profitable and higher profile solo careers. Upon the resurrection of the long-thought dead singing group the Blood-Queen left the group to their own devices and provided them with no real direction. Without the input of their agent the band failed to gel into something substantial. As such, when the group of alternative rockers, Spiritus Sanctus, came along and challenged the Princes to a battle of bands, the Princes did not last long. After such a horrid defeat the Princes turned in their gear and left the Citadel with heads held low.
Spiritus Sanctus would like to take this time to remember the group and what they gave all of us throughout their reign. We'll also be looking to settle the score with Lana'thel for being such a blood-thirsty bitch. We'll be taking her to court to show her that she cannot just use people for her own ends!
...is really losing a lot of dedicated members! With Patchwerk becoming a highly sought after target for bounty hunters each week the union (Union #666) has taken some serious beatings lately.
Most recently, Spiritus Sanctus has taken out two more leaders in this group by felling the monstrosities of Festergut and Rotface. Due to some changes in personnel for Spiritus there had been a bit of a lull in the news-worthy posts for this guild, but thanks to new blood we expect that SS will continue to wreak havoc in the Lich King's lair. Stay tuned for more updates!
No, we didn't get pictures, but people did get new nice loot!
Finally, the long awaited overhaul of the website is in the final stages. New pages and features will be added incrimentally as current features are field tested. Due to some technical difficulties, certain images and features won't be properly displayed until the issues can be resolved, including backgrounds for these very boxes, comment forms and forum links.
Much has happened during the past month for SS. As you see on the left, we've downed new bosses and are progressing through the new content steadily, most recently the Faction Champions in the Trial of the Crusader. Also, we have a new Officer, Inhumanus.
If you're looking for more information about Spiritus Sanctus, head to the forums. The About Us section will be updated in a few days with guild history, information, and policies, after the aforementioned technical issues are worked out. Shortly after that our new, interactive Roster page goes live. Finally, we will be creating an achievement and loot tracker that will be included in the About Us section.
Thanks for your patience while we work out the kinks in the new site. Check back often for updates!

Blizzard released 3.2 this week, and SS was ready. Only one encounter is currenty accessible, the Beasts of Northrend. It's the first encounter in the dungeon, and the first criteria for
It's a good start for the Coliseum. Got some sweet loot out of it too: Chestplate of the Towering Monstrosity, Drape of the Untamed Predator, Boots of the Courageous, and Pattern: Moonshadow Armguards. Also, thanks MMO-Champion for making a tooltip widget; Wowhead hasn't been updated for 3.2 completely.

SS defeats General Vezax! Our strategy changed some since we started. We decided to keep him in one place rather than kiting him, and it turned out all right. The entire fight was absolutely flawless, really great job everyone!
Sunday we'll start on Yogg. We whacked at him a few times today, but definitely need to get a feel for him. This just leaves one more boss for both

We did Flame Leviathan +2 last night, and decided to not shoot people on top this time. The plan worked great, and we even got an achievement out of it.
In other news, looks like patch 3.2 will arrive soon. The patch data has become available to download through the Blizzard Downloader. Looks like all that jousting may finally be useful.

As predicted, we defeated Mimiron and all his machines today. That finishes out the Keepers for SS, and only leaves the Descent into Madness to finish out Ulduar.
Got some sweet loot off of Mimiron: Insanity's Grip, Gauntlets of the Wayward Vanquisher, and Gauntlets of the Wayward Protector. Grats everyone, and good work. Stay tuned this week for site updates; have some cool things in the works including a completely new stylesheet.

After a quick Thorim kill, we rocked Freya. One more watcher down for SS, and just one to go. We made some good progress on Mimiron, and we'll likely see him dead on Sunday. Great work everyone!
As far as loot goes, Gemst received Leggings of the Lifetender, Edid received Legplates of the Wayward Conqueror, and Tornac received Legplates of the Wayward Vanquisher. Congrats!

At first I thought this was a late April Fool's joke, and I didn't post accordingly. However, it looks legitamate, so here it is: On 1 July Nethaera posted that Blizzard is developing a faction change ability. You will get an option to choose your race on the opposing faction, but only as long as that race has your class.
Blizzard is still in the very early stages of development on this, so there are not many more details to report yet. The complete post by Nethaera is here, along with an addendum with respones to players' questions. These types of additions to the game always prompt hot discussions on forums, and if you'd like to post your thoughts, our forum post is here. More details as they come in.

With a fresh raid and a great effort all around, we took out Thorim. As payment for his liberation, we took Sif's Promise and two Crown of the Wayward Protectors. Swung at Freya a few times, and we'll be swinging at her more on Sunday. One more down for SS!
Doesn't warrant it's own news item, but notice the neat Wowhead widget. Yup, we have website tooltips.

Rolled through the first bit of Ulduar tonight. Took down Flame Leviathan +1, Razorscale, Ignis, XT, Iron Council, Auriaya, and Hodir. Went after Thorim a few times, but he won this round.
So guess what we're doing tomorrow? That's right: killing the shit out of Thorim, and hopefully messing up Freya and Mimiron as well.
