Rodrin and Nightthrall sit by Nev, Deelia with Dirklin, and so on... July 10, 2008: Kaz'rogal - Toast. SS Moves Up To 3/5 and 3/9! Nobody touches my mana, nobody. Kaz'rogal learned this lesson and fell before the combined might of Spiritus Sanctus on just our second attempt at him. We pulled a few shiny objects from his rotting corpse including the Hammer of Attonement and the Valestalker Girdle. July 9, 2008: Anetheron Gets Knocked Off Mount Hyjal and SS moves up to 2/5 and 3/9! Spiritus Sanctus went mountain climbing again last night on Mount Hyjal and played a little King of the Mountain with Anetheron. He lost. He lost bad on only our second attempt at him. Aside from his rope and hiking boots he had Archbishop's Slippers, the Unbreakable Will, and the Design: Sovereign Shadowsong Amethyst. June 29, 2008: SS Finishes Off it's First Week in Black Temple with Another First-Night Kill, This Time The Shade of Akama!! I was right on my comment about Akama in my previous post! SS jumps to 1/5 and 3/9 after our first week in Black Temple. One second-night kill, Naj'entus, and two first-night kills, Supremus and now the Shade of Akama! Damn fine work everyone! Akama crossed the streams and his darker half dropped the Blind-Seers Icon, the Wristbands of Divine Influence, and the Pattern: Shoulderpads of Renewed Life. June 27, 2008: Spiritus Sanctus Marches Into Black Temple and Kicks its Teeth In! Last night was truly a banner night for SS. We made our first foray into the dreaded Black Temple Wednesday night and poked High Warlord Naj'entus with sharp objects for a while, then went back again last night. We stuffed Naj'entus back into his shell on only our second night in BT ever! Then we doggedly pressed on to see the ridiculously huge Supremus who I think has his own zip code, and overnighted his ass right to hell on the first night we ever saw him! Two BT bosses in one night, and only our second night ever in the zone, made for much rejoicing! The High Warlord Naj'entus had these goodies in his shell for us: Boots of Oceanic Fury, Eternium Shell Bracers, and the Pattern: Swiftheal Mantle. Captain zip code, Supremus, dropped The Brutalizer and the Choker of Endless Nightmares. A little on the skimpy side for a god damned BT mob, but we shall be back... Anyway, the Shade of Akama is gonna get a nice dirt nap come Sunday! Officially now using a new set of ratios. 1/5, 2/9!! June 15, 2008: Spiritus Sanctus Assumes the Mantle of a 5/6 - 3/4 Raiding Guild with it's First Solarian Kill! SS has spent the last few weeks in SSC and hitting the 5/6 mark in there, so last night we switched back to TK. We said hi to our old friends Loot Reaver and Al'ar then popped in on Solarian to punch her right in the mouth to get to 3/4 in TK! Out of her pie hole flowed the following items, ala pinata style: Vambracers of Ending, the Heartrazor, and her Trousers of the Astromancer. Lady Vashj, Kael'thas Sunstrider, and Anetheron are next on the list! June 8, 2008: Rage Winterchill Given a Warm Reception by SS! SS made it's first venture to Mt. Hyjal and found a seemingly nice fellow who was in need of a campfire. Then we melted his face. Sorry 'bout that Rage. Found a few nice items on him including the Bracers of the Pathfinder and the Chronicle of Dark Secrets. June 6, 2008: Karathress swimming with the fishies! SS moves up to 5/6 in Serpentshrine with it's first Fathom-Lord Karathress kill on only it's third trip to see the big snake. That means we have a date with lady of the house next! Mr. Karathress had some parting gifts for us: two Leggings of the Vanquished Champion, Leggings of the Vanquished Hero, and a Bloodsea Brigand's Vest. May 18, 2008: SS drops another one in SSC! On just our second trip to see the blind man, SS dropped Leotheras the Blind! And for good measure we even went 5 seconds into his enrage timer just for shits 'n giggles =D. That makes four bosses down in SSC, with Karathress next on the list. "Any of you guys call me Francis . . . and I'll kill ya." "Ooooh." "You just made the list buddy." Aside from his seeing eye felhound and cane, Leo dropped Gloves of the Vanquished Defender, Gloves of the Vanquished Hero, Gloves of the Vanquished Champion, and Orca-Hide Boots. April 17, 2008: SS, a Giant, and Murlocs, oh my! SS one shots Morogrim Tidewalker and quite a few of his Murloc buddies. Brglblglrlgbrgrlbrlglr! Once more SS drops another SSC boss, this time Morogrim Tidewalker, the first night they laid eyes on the fat, farting bastard. That makes for 5 new bosses killed in 18 days (see roll)! He didn't play nice and went after the healers, but in the end the tide went out. He dropped a Mantle of the Tireless Tracker, a Ring of Sundered Souls, and a Luminescent Rod of the Naaru. April 13, 2008: Spiritus Sanctus Assassinates Two More Foes in TK! It has been a banner week for SS, first with the downing of Hydross on Thursday, and last night the double first-kills of both Al'ar and Void Reaver! SS dropped it's crosshairs over Al'ar first, sending a nice .50 cal. round, right between his firey eyes. Al'ar dropped Mindstorm Wristbands, the Claw of the Phoenix, and Netherbane. Click here for a picture of the victors. Next, SS marched on to Void Reaver and dropped thier sights on him, for only the second time. After a few near misses, Void Reaver got himself perished. Among his goodies were Wristgaurds of Determination, the Pauldrons of the Vanquished Champion, the Pauldrons of the Vanquished Defender, and the Pauldrons of the Vanquished Hero. Click here to see the broken husk of Void Reaver and his dismantlers. April 10, 2008: SS vs Hydross in Tonight's Heavyweight Match! Round 5 Knockout Goes to Spiritus Sanctus! After a quick opening bout vs Lurker, SS got into the ring with Hydross for the the first time and after a couple knockdowns by the reigning champion, SS squared it's collective shoulders and put Hydross down for the ten count. Among the prize money for SS were the Blackfathom Warbands, the Shoulderpads of the Stranger, and the Wraps of Purification. March 30, 2008: SS Marches into Serpentshrine Cavern for the First Time and Punches The Lurker Below Square in the Pie-Hole! SS made its first foray into Serpentshrine Cavern and marched right to The Lurker Below's fishing hole and proceeded to gut that nasty fish. Among the contents of his rather large stomach were the Mallet of the Tides, the Libram of Absolute Truth, and the Grove-Bands of Remulos. March 24, 2008: Hex Lord gets some Sexytime!! SS popped back into ZA after giving the trolls a breather for a bit, and put down Hex Lord Malacrass and his merry men! He dropped the Tome of Diabolic Remedy and the Dagger of Bad Mojo. After Malacrass we hit the head troll himself, Zul'jin, for the first time and got him to 34% before having to call it a night.
